Sunshine, Surf, and Over 320 Competitors Shine at Australia’s Premier Pickleball Venue
The PPA Tour Australia made a powerful statement with its return to the court at the Tweed Heads Pickleball Cup, hosted at the stunning new Voyager Tweed Heads facility – now the largest dedicated pickleball venue in the country.
Held over three massive days of play, the event welcomed over 320 competitors, with divisions spanning from 3.0 amateur categories all the way through to elite Pro brackets. From local legends to national champions, the player field was stacked with talent, energy, and passion for the game.
The tournament also featured 40+ international athletes from across Southeast Asia, New Zealand, the USA and beyond – adding a global flavour to the event and elevating the level of play across all divisions. At the same time, there was a huge turnout of local New South Wales and Queensland-based players, proudly representing their clubs and communities.
From rising juniors to seasoned Masters players, the event showcased pickleball’s remarkable inclusivity – with competitors ranging from 14 to 72 years of age.

Jack Wong officially put himself on the PPA Australia map after an incredible event with 3 PPA Medals, but it was the singles where he claimed the Gold and the Pro Title
