Podium to Worlds! New Incentive Program for Amateur & Junior Players!
We’re thrilled to roll out a brand-new initiative with UPA designed to reward players across all levels and give more athletes the chance to shine on the World Championships stage. We’re introducing a Podium to Worlds that ensures our top PPA Tour Australia performers get the chance to shine on the biggest stage in the USA!
Event Overview
The United Pickleball World Championships are the biggest 10 days in pickleball! Starting on Sunday, November 3rd, the United Pickleball Association will welcome the world’s best professional and amateur pickleball players to Pickleball BLVD for an event filled with competition, celebration, food, and entertainment. Last year’s tournament hosted over 3,400 players and 60,000 spectators! This year’s event at the Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, TX, promises
Participate in a PPA Tour Australia Tournament, finish on the podium and punch your ticket to the World Championships!
Here’s how it works
JUNIORS (U16)
- All podium finishers in PPA Australia Junior divisions qualify to compete in the Junior (U16) PPA Tour World Championships.*If you are 17 or 18 you will qualify for 8-34 Champions division
- FREE Tournament Fees for Podium Finishers of Junior events.
- FREE Tournament Fees + Event Fee Coupon for Gold Medalists.
- If you’d like to enter additional non-junior events, you’ll just cover the event fee for those
- Winners will receive an email with instructions and a coupon code to claim their free entry.
AMATEURS
- Podium finishers in amateur divisions at PPA Australia/Asia events qualify for the Champions division at the World Championships.
- FREE Tournament Fees for Podium Finishers of events.
- FREE Tournament Fees + Event Fee Coupon for Gold Medalists.
- Additional events can be entered at normal rates.
- Winners will receive an email with instructions and a coupon code to claim their free entry.
PRO & SENIOR PRO
- Pro and Pro Masters players are welcome to compete in Champions Division events but will not receive prize money in these brackets.
- If these Pro players would like to play in the 5.0+ amateur divisions, they are more than welcome to, and will receive the same podium discounts that apply to other finishers.
- FREE Tournament Fees for Podium Finishers of events.
- FREE Tournament Fees + Event Fee Coupon for Gold Medalists.
- They may also enter Pro or Senior Pro events, they will need to enter via qualifiers and there is no incentive discounts applicable.
