Major League Pickleball Australia Is Here For 2026.

The 2026 MLP Australia season is officially announced. The professional, merit-driven league built for the nation’s best players.

Major League Pickleball Australia is proud to announce the launch of its 2026 season, an exciting time for players in this region. As an official partner of Major League Pickleball in the United States, MLP Australia is the authorised home of the world’s premier team pickleball competition of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). Together with MLP, we are taking the game’s most exciting league format and building it into a fully professional competition that ANZ players and fans can call their own.

The 2026 season again features a three-tier competition structure. 8 Premier Teams, 8 MiLP DUPR22 Teams, and 8 Champions (50+) Teams. Thus creating a clear, credible, and competitive pathway for players at every elite level. Critically, DUPR22 and Champions (50+) teams will earn their place through the Official MLP Australia Minor League, with top finishers granted direct promotion into the league. This merit-based pathway ensures every position in MLP Australia is earned on court.

With a total prize pool exceeding $200,000 MLP Australia represents continued investment into athletes in the region. The season also features a landmark international moment, an MLP Australia Team will compete in the Major League Pickleball Mid-Season Tournament in Grand Rapids, USA, from 8-12 July, cementing Australia’s place on the global pickleball stage.

Team announcements begin April 14 2026, with Draft Nominations opening April 22 and closing June 4. MLP Australia Draft Day is set for June 18, the day Australia’s 2026 teams are built.
